How to Hide Files in Android Phone without Any App

Hiding files, folders, and apps on an Android device, sometimes you might be required. Suppose, you are on a tour or occasion where your friends or relatives can ask your phone and open your photos, files, folders, apps, and other things that you won’t like to open outside people. Create a Hidden Folder

Open the file manager on your android phone

Go to the storage.

Click on the New Folder option.

Name the folder of your choice

Now put the dot (.) Before the folder name if you want to make it a hidden folder.

Ex:.myphotos

Transfer all the data you want to hide in this folder so that all the files you want to hide are not visible to anyone else.

Hide(stash) Existing Folder in Android Device

Open the File Manager app on your phone.

Go to the folder you want to hide.

Open that folder and go to the Create new file option.

Write the file name as .nomedia.

When finished, exit the File Manager app and restart your android phone.

Then onward, your file is not visible to anyone.

So far well. But, what do? If we want to see the hidden file?

Conceal (Hide) Apps in Android Phone

Go to your device, open Settings > Apps.
Press the app you want to disable.
On the App Info page, press Disable.
A confirmation message appears. If you’re sure you want to disable the app, press Disable.
The app is disabled, and will no longer appear in your App Drawer.
To open the hidden folder in Android
Go to Settings in the File Manager app and click on the Show hidden files option.
There you can see the folder you have hidden.
